ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Our Safety Department
After a successful career in the oil
and gas drilling business working
for other companies, and after
prayer consideration, Pat
Thompson decided in 1998 to start
his own water well drilling business,
Thompson Brothers Drilling, Inc. He
committed himself with the same
energy and dedication that he
invested with his previous
employers. Over the past 17 years
Pat and members of his family
continued to be blessed with a
core of hard working field hands
and loyal customers allowing them
to build a diversified drilling
company operating throughout the
Southeastern United States.

Utilizing the proven philosophy of treating our staff and crews as
family by educating, supporting, rewarding and protection them; we
have discovered they respond by providing quality work. After
educating employees through an in-depth safety program and a
strictly documented short service employee program, we believe it is
vital to support them by providing  state of the art equipment and the
tools.  Employee performance is reviewed on a regular basis.  A
comprehensive controlled substance and alcohol policy has been put
in place to ensure compliance with DOT FMCSA regulations, ensure
compliance with our client's master service agreements and to
provide our employees with a controlled substance and alcohol free
workplace. This is accomplished through DOT and Non DOT testing
administered through a third party and in accordance with part 40 CRF 49 of the FMCSA. Making this commitment to our
employees is reflected in our very low experience modifier for Workers Compensation rate which is .83, .79 and .83 for the
past three years. These support services have resulted in having well trained, safety conscious, experienced personnel with
a very low turnover rate and contributes to our
Commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
With the adoption of "Safety First" and a full time qualified HSE Manager on staff, our safety program is constantly
progressing to meet regulatory requirements, client requirements and our own hazard recognition requirements. Educating
employees comes in many forms such as video based, instructor based and on the job hazard assessments.  Hazards are
identified during tailgate meetings and documented on job safety analysis (JSA).  Employees also retain "Stop Work
Authority" which allows any person to stop the progression of work if they notice or feel as though an unsafe condition or act
exists.  All of our policies are reviewed with our employees, the tracked with a database system and reviewed annually with
each employee.  We currently have over 30 safety policies in place, and others that are in the process of being added. We
have documented training on company policies including: Benzene Awareness, Bloodborne Pathogens, Confined Spaces,
Defensive Driving, First Aid, CPR, HAZCOM, H2S, Lock Out Tag Out, PPE and noise Awareness, just to name a few. Our
training is monitored and has maintained compliance with ISNetworld. Furthermore, by having  a certified trainer in our HSE
Manager, all of our employees are certified in PEC, SafeLand USA Basic Orientation training.  We invest heavily in each of
our employees to ensure they all go home as healthy as they arrived at work and because we trying believe our motto of
"Our Most Valuable Asset Wears A Hardhat".
